Job Description:

Assist the PT in implementing treatment plans designed to help patients regain movement and manage pain.
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training, and other interventions as directed by the PT.
Educate patients and their families about ongoing care and support for the continuation of therapy at home.
Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatments as necessary under the guidance of the PT.
Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment, adhering to clinic protocols and safety standards.
Collaborate with the PT and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and preparing treatment areas.
Stay updated with the latest developments in physical therapy to provide the best care possible.

Qualifications:

Valid and current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of California.
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current CPR certification.
Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
