Job Description:
This is a great experience for someone who has administrative skills, enjoys helping people, and is looking to grow professionally. Administrative duties will include providing the highest level of customer service, greeting and scheduling patients, answering phone calls, as well as handling various other administrative tasks. Our company is rapidly expanding and there are many opportunities for advancement.
Following are some of the duties Patient care coordinator performs on daily bases:
- Check in and Check out patients.
- Collect money for patient responsibility portion.
- Coordinate with providers.
- Communication with billing and Authorization department to understand patient's responsibility.
- Answer and handle phone calls.
- Return voicemails.
- Enter data in spreadsheet for KPIs.
- Keeping front desk organized and clean.
- Scan documents.
- Applying payments.
- Prepare for next day.
- Checking faxes and responding them accordingly.
- Scheduling patients for future visits.
- Attend team meetings.
- Active in problem-solving for the department.
- Reconciling data on daily bases.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree or higher required.
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience required.
- Previous experience working in a medical or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
